Organization Quickstart
This guide walks admins through launching Codmir for an organization. Organization workspaces unlock team billing, shared projects, and advanced collaboration controls.
1. Create your organization account
- Sign up at /signup.
- Choose “Organization” when onboarding and select the appropriate billing tier (Starter, Growth, or Enterprise).
- Add your organization name, primary business email, and payment method.
Billing is centralized at the organization level. Personal usage is billed separately and cannot be expensed through the organization workspace.
2. Invite your team and assign roles
- Open Settings → Members in the organization dashboard.
- Invite teammates by email and assign roles (Admin, Builder, Reviewer, or Viewer).
- Use groups to mirror your departments and keep permissions organized.
Admins can enforce SSO, SCIM provisioning, and auto-join rules for specific email domains on Growth and Enterprise tiers.
3. Configure shared projects
- Create foundational projects that your teams will share (e.g., Engineering, Product Ops, Customer Success).
- Apply organization templates or custom blueprints for consistent workflows.
- Set default reviewers, SLA targets, and automation rules so new tickets inherit the right policies.
4. Link organization integrations
- Identity: Configure SSO (Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace) for secure sign-in.
- Productivity: Connect shared drives, Slack or Teams, and issue trackers.
- Data & Analytics: Link your warehouse or BI tools to power cross-project reporting.
Growth and Enterprise plans include audit logging, sandbox environments, and rate limit increases for integrations.
5. Roll out workflows across teams
- Publish sample workflows in the Playbooks library to onboard each department.
- Enable required approvals and compliance checks before workflows go live.
- Announce the workspace and share the
/use-cases/organizationresources with your teams.
6. Next steps
- Review billing insights under Settings → Billing to monitor consumption and adjust tiers as teams grow.
- Set up automation jobs with the SDK or CLI for recurring organizational processes.
- Coordinate with Codmir Support to schedule enablement sessions or Enterprise onboarding.
